Doomed By Being

When there was no man, there was God After men will perish there will be God Man’s fate is doomed by being On earth the sin of Adam he pays for Heaven for virtues and hell for sins This is what the providence decrees This dictate makes man weary How little time he has to experience the world With youth gone and fabric of health in tatters his woes increase His attainments, his glory and fame, a history The shadow of Angel of death following him With claws of death in readiness to maul. (Influenced by a verse of Mirza Ghalib) Sintra, Portugal 13 July 2016

I get it. And the fourth stanza of verse two, "How little time he has to experience the world," the world still seems young even though I am not.
