Dont Change Me For You
Don’t change me for you
If i cannot fit into your box of mystery
Then don’t change me for you
I am who i am for what i am
I am who i am for what i choose to be
I choose to step in every way that satisfies me
And yet who are you to still try to change me
Into being what you want me to be
Don’t change me for what you know will never
Meet my standard and advantage as a human
Never take your time in trying to correct my every move
And everything that i seem to be doing
Why does it seem like you find everything i do at fault
And yet who are you trying to change me
Put yourself in my shoes and walk a mile you will notice
Don’t need a corrector
Don’t change me in order to be like you because we are never meant to be alike and there is a valid reason we are not alike
Don’t change me for you
