Does Fall This Winter's Evening Snow

Does Fall This Winter’s Evening Snow Simply soft, serenely so Wrapped within its chilly bow Petals gleam of crystal glow Does fall this winter’s evening snow Upon this world, descending slow For its beauty to bestow Deep this frozen earth to grow Does fall this winter’s evening snow Serenity of soft halo Cast by winds of frigid blow Resting on the ground below Does fall this winter’s evening snow Magical this twilight show As my heart doth love thee so Glistened prisms steady flow Does fall this winter’s evening snow

Chris, where I live we get a lot of snow; you captured the beauty, the light, and the evening glow!!! Happy New Year! Paulette Calasibetta

Thank you so much again Jo. The first snowfall of the year is usually beautiful until you have to get out in it at 6 in the morning and scrape the windshield just to drive to work. : )

How I wish to see the evening snow ...If only just once on my little land...I can picture this beauty Chris. All I have for now is a snow globe...I love to shake it and watch snow falling everynow and then.Somehow it comforts me..and makes me feel like a happy Child...So do your Winter poems.

I feel the same way my sweet friend. Not much snow at all where I live but I grew up in snow country, so I do have very fond memories of those evening snowfalls. Thank you Charmaine.

Exquisitely beautiful. It paints a picture and tells a story of the heart. The depth, tone and flow is reminiscent of Edgar Allan Poe. I love it.
