Disappearing Reflection

Time left me here along time ago. With addle sensability, saying I don't know. Looking for an avenue to find somewhere to go. For there are nothing but blank pictures on the wall to show. Only insperation is left to guide the way. Hopefully theres enough left so that I can stay. Right here within the emptiness that fills up each new day. So what I need to understand is what I have to say. A woven web of sanity, intertwined with love. To navigate a cold cruel worlds endless push and shove. We wear our masks to do our tasks with bitten lower lip. But in the course of being human, we're surely bound to slip. So round and round and Deja Vu and up and down and whoopdi do. Until we spin out of control with nothing left but to rewiew. A paper filled with endless thought within our mind we finally caught. With only hope left to endure that it is not just all for naught.

More sad undertones in this one as well... definitely a case of Winter Blues settled in yet I'm finding the reads quite marvelous... especially love the last verse in this... a bit of humor tossed in shows your spirits are trying to revive !!! May the New Year find you healthy and bring you a bit of cheer !!

oh my, YOu put up a new poem. Good to see this. I really want to know what has happened in your life. Hope one day you will write with detail about the things that have shaped the way you are writing today, Robert. A belated happy thanksgiving day if I never had time to say goodbye before my little trip. I am back now and trying to catch up!!

robert - i love your rhyme in this poem, especially the 3rd verse and the first line of the last verse (the "deja vu and whoopdi do" are brilliant!).
