Diamond Skin

Diamond Skin By Kevin Robey August 3, 2013 I see you standing there Angel of darkness and light Holding your blade in the air Eyes shining through my night Your pale white skin glistens Light of a thousand diamonds I’ll hold your hand and listen Straight into the bitter end If my mind survives the chaos I’ll see a smile I’ll never explain My aging face will show the cost A thousand deaths for what I’ll gain But if that call never comes I’ll find that smile anyway No regrets for what I’ve done Memories will guide me through the day
