Devolving . . . ?

I remember the days not so very long ago When a man was a man above his own ego When trouble arose he would come a running Like a knight in armour he'd drop his hunting The damsel he would rescue, the fiends he would clobber Make no subconscious mistake he was like no other Toiling day and night for his family nourished to keep Seeing the smiles in their eyes was his sole reprieve Yet the new metrosexual knows no bounds He simply wants his feelings to be sound His facials must be updated, his hues must match And watch out if on his car he finds even a scratch! I must be honest and this is solely my view For this new breed of man is devolving 'tis true!
