Destiney's Glow
Oh, to have found my destiny at last,
The one meant for just me
Basking in the glow of his love for me, like
Warm, streams of sunlight heating my skin,
With eyes closed, lying silent and still
I am cooled just enough by a fresh breeze
To maintain a perfect, uninterrupted, but elevated temperature
Not caught in the moment, but to last forever
The glow, slightly diminished by the intruding tasks of life’s reality,
While perpetually smoldering just beneath the surface
Lies waiting, for his touch, look, scent to once again release the
Almost spiritual essence over me
