Death Tempted

Could I have done something Was I not listening You showed me the ropes Made me the man I am Would things be different If I didn't leave for home Could you have stayed alive for me Now I'm missing a piece of my soul Didn't you know what this does Leaving me broken Were we not enough No I can't trust an old heart I needed you to know You were worth more Then death tempted your beautiful soul Its a sad thing to loose one of your own I needed you to know I would've given you my young And taken your sick and old
