It it what it is. Yet your words somehow put beauty there and a warning to us all. Death does not always knock before entering. I think your writing is more about life than death. Excellent use of available syllables. Good luck for contest David.

the topic is very good for etheree form. a little suggestion , use have instead of had on line seven. Then it will be perfect!
