Dear Brick Wall,

Dear Brick wall, My only friend right now. And it hurts. To wipe my tears on the cement And I scratch My skin against the stone Till it bleeds And the blood makes me happy And the blood gives me joy It brings me closer to the goal Step up to the endplate homerun, I could cry to you but I’ll shut up Lock myself up one day To block out all you might say I love you brick wall Against your sandpaper skin I lean You’re harder and tougher and mean. It’s what I need. You don’t talk. I don’t listen. Forget you! You Bastard. Brick wall. Perfect Delerium. Apple trees were all I see When the “people” past Unseen to sanity.
