Daylight Dream

I danced through a daylight dream Was baptized in a mountain stream Fought the pains of being bored As the endless ridicule I ignored Now as other people look at me The old Mike they just can’t see Just can’t see me any other way Then the loving man I am today As I dwell on that for a while I admit that it makes me smile Brings a feeling unto my soul The Lord has made me whole I reckon what I’m trying to say Praise God for this beautiful day

Your enthusiasm really bubbles in this one-I love it. Sorry it's been so long-with hubby home I just don't have the time I'd like to spend online at mom's house. Can't wait for the beginning of the new year when I can get online at my own home again! Don't give up on me-I'm still burning with the desire to pen the perfect prose! LOL
