He used to be so fun and happy Now he seems so sad and angry He never seems to smile anymore I’ve never seen him this way before I just want my old friend back The one who could always make me laugh It only got worse as time went on It was then I knew my old friend was gone He started to get far and distant I tried, but I couldn’t make sense of it I started to wonder what went wrong Was it something that could be undone? I can see the evil gleam in his eyes It’s all part of his journey to the dark side Looking back I can’t help but feel it’s all my fault Even thought it was his own choice to join the cult I know there’s no one to blame And in the end he couldn’t be tamed
