Now greets night's empty void the moon's pale light, so cool and opaline it gives delight. We watch you pass the distant western bar where you find rest 'til dawn ignites with fire. The bright and distant stars each know the way of holding our eyes rapt to their display. We view spellbound each rich, ethereal show. Soon from the east the sun shines forth in flow. Await dun nights with moon and stars a-flight. Each legend's twinkling mysteries burn bright. Though dawn and sun provide the warmth to grow, the heart seeks twilight's enigmatic glow!
