Dark Clouds Disappear George Seal
I gazed in wonder at the sky
When silver clouds were passing by.
Imagination brought me to,
A place where only eagles dare..
Somewhere to rest my mortal soul.
This new dimension, set me free
Where i escaped reality.
Misguided when naivity, let
Hell itself step on my cloud.
My beating heart was wracked with pain,
How could my citadel be breached.
I lost someone so very dear
My anger grew, dark clouds despair.
Those tortured years to stay alive.
Slowly the mirror changed my face
My eyes show peace, once misery.
Since long years past, my changing ways
Full circle turned to pleasant dreams.
Beliefs once held, i blew away
My sanctuary i will not share.
So ,hey you, get off of my cloud.
I sail alone around the world.
With feet now firmly on the ground.
In leisure browsing, lazy days
Where open books, reveal inside
Their pearls of wisdom, now gently guide
My inner self, the way to go.
Mankind when lost is full of strife,
And recklessly, abandons hope.
Now vigilance is my best friend.
My privacy it will keep safe.
I challenge all who hide thier face.
To search their soul that breeds contempt
Tear off your masks, stop this charade
Don't rain again on my parade.
