Dancing In Stillness
A window’s reflection of night
Traps silence in the light of its stare
Eyes ingrained in solitude’s trust
A pane of forgotten fare
As morning light trades memories with yesterday
Constantly shifting it, with the colours of time
Images colliding like voices in the mist
Anonymous objects silent in their pursuit
Of a sun’s sweep, brushes hasty at their palette
Painting chaotic kaleidoscopes at its zenith
To peeling oiled layers at dusk, now
A silhouette of moon beams
Dancing in stillness
Upon its inflected soul
