Dear Derek: "Contrary Wonderland" is a series of verses in 5 parts. When a piece is too long or even difficult, I post the poem in parts, over several days or weeks. In this case, I wrote these verses as a political satire. Meaning and interpretation is very much left to the reader's own insights. Meaning is found in the illogical as well as in the factual world. Thank you for asking. All the best then, Leon.

Smart poem Leon and excellent experimentation. You might want to check poet Cathy Park Hong's work if you don't know her already. Be interesting to know how you chose the alliteration.

Dear Derek: Please feel free to check out a series I wrote titled "Crazy Profound" with about 18 parts or so. It's a lot of fun + doggerel + logic all with a dose of swirling sounds. Enjoy! Do let me know how you feel and think as the words create a sonic spur swirling slowly... Leon.

Dear Derek: Thank you for the comments. Yes, I will certainly check Cathy's work. Alliteration is just a form I use to experiment on a different way to write verses. It's a combo of logic and doggerel. Here, I enjoy the nuances of language that is more sound than reason. It keeps me grounded. Hope this helps. Leon
