Common Language
Common Language
With the softness of your eyes,
you calm me.
And, with boldness
against the howling wind
I welcome you.
Vulnerably. Expectantly.
A few words and in-between memories.
Twigs and branches of the willow tree,
bend and nod. They seem to agree.
Inflamed by faith and sweet fondness,
I approach, too.
And a common language; unquestionable union ensues
The heavens we touch by our sameness....
....mind the timepiece
When finally we part -–
A poem
I pen with ease.
(A love affair of two book worms meant to meet under the shady branches of mother willow. The story was never told until now).
