Clouded Thoughts
These monsters creep me out
I'm about to throw this all out
wasting it all?
Wasting my time?
Why all you do is complain,
I've yet to hear you say-
something worth while
something believable
you talk as if you're the only thing that walks,
thinks,
breaths,
and I feel for you.
I feel this funny sympathy,
the kind that reaches into your skull,
so dense and full-
of thoughts and actions
glimpses of memories, those flashes-
they repeat, your almost empty now,
ain't leaving til you understand
that though i'm full of missing pieces-
to a puzzle
I don't need help fitting them together.
So dense, in depth, disasters rebeginning
you don't know that your winning
cause I don't admit,
yet I don't lie
and it took me this long
to wonder why
