Close your eyes to the sun I say to myself And while I turn my head away, I smile to the soothing sound of waves running around the wheels of my chair Close your eyes to the sun Because sunbeams are frolicking and teasing around Twinkling little sounds of colours talking nonsense in my ears And on my hands Close your eyes to the sun but don't shut the light out Closed eyes hurt, they see too much in the dark They need the warming sweet smiling sound of daylight And when you handle my chair And playfully whisper "Home, baby, light of my life?" I grin with closed eyes and say "Take me back to our home, you, brighter than bright!"
