Climbing Awareness
Pollution corrupting sense
The sense of self I’d recommend
In this place I can’t be saved
Save me now, I’ve lost my faith
I’d bare it all to help mankind
But what I’ve seen would make you hide
In this world I can’t let go
With so much truth to stir my soul
Ignorance corrupting me
Me that’s not who I should be
Become more to sing aloud
Allow myself to walk through clouds
Flick through life if you think you must
The static screams for you to rush
Below pyramids of wealth
Forget the height of truer self
All this world corrupting love
Love that can’t begin to trust
In this place nobody’s heard
But I must speak even though I’m scared
Symbols lost between the lines
You say you see but prove you’re blind
Question what can make it so
I will not stop until we know
