Circle of Mind

I have closed my eyes and listened, To the wind’s long solemn song. Echoes off the mountains, Casting glances all along. A shaking leaf’s last quiver, Makes its winding downwards flight, As I lay myself upon the bed, And give in for the night. Shadows play along the wall- I cannot rest assured. All hope of burdens off the chest, Needs closure from a sword. A hefty sigh, I bare to cry, This life is but a war… One must fall in hope to rise- Take a chance, pay the price. Benefits, my dear are near, Open your ears, can you hear? The clockwork’s ticking in the night, My heart beat racing for the light, Calling, calling silent sounds, For a blaze that will astound. Shower me in golden peace, Remove all shadows dark, Engulf me in the sea below, Where wonders never cease.
