Chritmas Mosquitoes
Christmas Mosquitoes
Twas the night before Christmas
That would make it Christmas Eve
Squadrons of mosquitoes were following me
Outside on the lawn, no ice or snow
This is Florida don't you know
My spouse and I had just dunked our heads
In a vat of bug repellent and started to bed
We became surrounded and began to pray
The buzzing got closer anyway
Mosquitoes treat bug spray like marinade
They targeted us and began their parade
The Mrs. just finished her whiskey night cap
Staggered to bed without a road map
On the way she lit candles about the house
Though it was so dark and she had her doubts
We don't have candles, only TNT
Lets see if insects like to feed on these
Merry Christmas to all except the mosquito
We scratched their last itch and made it finito
