- Christmas Is Coming -

Yes, Christmas is approaching The only thing that is certain is that in December comes Christmas back But this Christmas we will not "stress" do not be late Christmas shopping not bake 12 different Christmas cakes do not buy new Christmas dress this year not wash the floor and walls throughout the house do not buy Christmas nuts (we do not eat those anyway) not brushing all silverware do not eat too much food or candy . . . Then comes Christmas, and we do so that we always have The wish is old and yet so real A Peaceful Christmas I wish For You ! A-L Andresen :) Copyright © All Rights Reserved

People really do stress about things that aren't very important during the holidays, Anne Lise. Put away the mops, brooms and kitchen utensils and sit back, relax and enjoy the true spirit of Christmas. (I had to giggle because I have a friend who does all his shopping on December 24th.) Your poem reminded so much of my mother at Christmas time. She would rush around doing all the things you mention in your poem. Now sadly she is in heaven. I lost her to cancer a few years ago.
