Christmas Eve No Peeping

Christmas Eve tucked up in bed Now go fast asleep my mummy said I'm so excited and I just can't wait Go fast asleep Tommy its getting quite late. I lie there awake just thinking of toys Suddenly a bang I just heard a noise I rush to the window and look in the sky I'm sure I just saw Santa pass by. I ran back to bed but fell on the floor Then I saw mummy open the door She said get back in bed you should be sleeping And remember tonight I don't want no peeping. I said mummy mummy is Christmas here yet No but the snow outside is beginning to set I shouted its snowing its snowing as I jump on my bed Be quiet Tommy my mummy just said. Mummy closed the door so I jumped out of bed And looked out the window and wow I just said The snow on the ground was so deep and so white The lights in the windows what a beautiful sight. Then I remembered what mummy had said So I ran back quickly and jumped into bed My eyes were so tired I just fell asleep And I promise I didn't go downstairs for a peep.
