Choices

Come and stay Or go away Please don’t come and go It’s wrong I know I say it’s so But I take you back As doors revolve I can’t evolve Yet I am too weak The pain within Needs a new spin To let us both grow How hard I’ve tried To myself I’ve lied Holding out false hope The lives we want Just seem to taunt Our paths must diverge So if you go No more “hello” This door will finally close I know it’s best You leave our nest To find your soul mate Just leave your key And set us free A chance for true love waits

It's hard to say no, though sometimes it is the best solution. But it is true, it hurts. Your poem is a sad one, I got touched with your brilliand words and simplicity of expression. I cheer on the ray of hope in the last line! Hugs Carolyn!

Carolyn, there is no point caring on a relationship that is going nowhere, you captured the pain well in your poem, 7, and thanks for visiting, love hurts

The heart is not governed by rules and conditions, love is a spontaneous eruption to feelings that are hard to categorize and seldom hold up to logic or expectations. Emile.

Wonderful, wise words, Carolyn. Sometimes it's best to move on then be treated like a doormat. Thanks for your visits this past weekend. I'm sorry to hear about your friend's granddaughter. Is she doing any better? Keeping her in my prayers...hugs, Rhonda

Compelling and effective; clearly focuses on a difficult situation and comes to a resolution....I liked your presentation, your wording, and your rhymes.....

Many will find this poem their own! It is best sometimes, just to move on, shut the door on the same old problems, and open a window to something new and take a deep breath! :) Hope you are well !!:)

There be a subtle message in first clue,(SMILE) the last clue is that there are two in one, one is weak the other is strong, the flesh and it's mind shall pass, the supernatural and it's mind shall stay! Agape away, flesh shall stay, Thanks for your comments and poesy's two, I wish a happy Agape to you! Agape, Moses

Hi, Carolyn. How ya doin? It's a long 3 months or more till football season and we must weather 3 months of baseball which I can't get interested in. Hope you find the key to true love, but health is more important. Had a polyp biopsy. Doc says no malignancy and gave me a clean bill of health. Love, daver
