Cell-Phone
Perhaps it’s a bit PESSIMISTIC
Of me to say “life is an ANGRY HORROR”
Without your CLEAR reflection
And SLEEK body
IRONICALLY, I dropped you last week
On your HEAD no less
So, your warning LIGHTS are now faded
Though, I’m OPTIMISTIC you’ll still work
Through the shattered CRACKS
Of your FRAIL face
I’m still SAD
You’ve always connected me
And protected me with PLAYFUL
Yet, POMPOUS ring tones
However AMUSED, I am not
If ever RESIGNED to utilize
The GLOOMY technology
Of FORMAL years gone by
I’d most definitely CRY!
MATTER-OF-FACT
Greater are the DAYS of
INFORMAL communication
Internal INTERNET
SOCIAL MEDIA SITES
All PASSWORD protected
So SUSPICIOUS late night
Text messages won’t warrant
WITTY comments or
SERIOUS disagreements…
