Cake Wakes Up

As an icing dribbled dress drips bubblegum blue, caramel clouds bleed along the chocolate sky. Black forest trees sway gently in the breeze, as she bathed in a pool of raspberry pie. Cake awoke under a pile of candles, and blew out the flames with her peppermint breath. The stars shone brightly upon her crystal lit hair, as she scraped out the filling for all that was left. She searched for desserts, for sponges and cream, in hopes that her adventures were far from her dreams. Hives of honey housed lamington bees, while red velvet cats sat sleeping as they pleased. She nibbled, she munched, she gobbled down her lunch, for she’d starved herself famished, she’d even missed brunch!
