Burning Bridges
Burning Bridges
Burning bridges falling down
Ashes in a pile on the ground
What used to be a happy place
Now is just an empty space
How do you fill a hole so wide?
Total destruction all from pride
Can it be rebuilt like before?
Or is it to be forevermore?
Standing where I used to be
Sadness and hurt is all I see
Father God who can you send?
Is it possible or is it the end?
Hold on to Jesus for he is the one
The divine carpenter my loving son
For he is the one and only who can restore
What was burned, broken and crumbled on the floor
For in his glory all is anew
Trust in him is all you have to do
