Bubbles the Fish
BUBBLES THE FISH
Life is sure hell; when you live in a house with Ginger the old cat
That sits all day eyeing you up as wanting to eat you and all that
Bubbles the fish decided a day in the town, would not go a miss
So; with a water pack strapped to his back he didn’t miss a trick
Bubbles waited until he heard Ginger the cat as started to snore
Then sailed quite brazen passed Ginger the cat on the vinyl floor
Bubbles who was rather quite clever on account he so had brains
Hopped on one of the bairn’s left out battery-operated toy trains
The crafty beggar; who was like no others, had in his pocket a list
3 bottles of vodka, a 2" pizza, and, a whole load, of cheesy crisps
After he was done with his shopping it was back home on his train
Whilst whipping passed the sleeping, snoring, Ginger the cat again
Back in his tank Bubbles sat down, then got stuck in, to eat lunch
Opening the bottles of vodka and the whole tank became a punch
Ginger the cat woke up to a sight; that to him, more than amazed
Bubbles skipping loops, a pizza in fin and eyes that were all glazed
Ginger the cat thought he had lost his nuts so signed in as insane
Bubbles relaxed; his home was his castle, for him, he still will reign
The moral of this story is never underestimated the brains of a fish
Who had no intentions of been a meal on that Ginger the cats' dish
