Broken Promises

Your promises fall to the ground like autumn leaves. They are like the drops in an ocean, Or the stars in the sky. The crust on a pie so easily broken. Your lips may move but the truth stays hidden away. I dont need lie detectors, Just my ears. No torture chambers or dossier of lies No more sons need to die Always remember a politians promises, Are like snow flakes they will melt away Until the next illegal war comes to take your young soldiers away
