Bright Angelwings

                   UNSUPPORTED CODE

Satyr angelwing butterfly or Polygonia satyrus

Bright Angelwings flutter in flight,
Glowing gossamer fills my sight,
This meadow, my Heaven on earth,
is blessed by God’s gentle mirth
that even shade can not benight.

The ballet begins, pure delight,
Daisies sway, their white blooms ignite,
Milkweed nurse and primrose birth
                        bright Angelwings

Blossoms perfume their warm invites,
But each stay is short, so polite,
Art unfolds, reveals its full girth,
Enraptured, I give all of my worth,
Slowly lift my hand ‘til alights
                         bright Angelwings
