Breathtaking

Beneath the layers of everyday living the Reality and grandeur of life is present in Even the smallest of things that often go unnoticed. At the flowering of green in a sidewalk crack, To the determination of the smallest ant, Here is the wonder of the world around us. Taken singularly, we often miss their significance, Altogether, it can be breathtaking. Kids are often more aware of little things, It may be because it is all new, a daily discovery. New eyes to see the bud, the caterpillar, the clouds. Gladden your hearts with some of the little things... 3/10/16

Little things do matter. Wonderful take on the theme. "Kids are often more aware of little things" - so true.

I can relate so well to this beautiful poem Barbara. I see things through my four yr. old g.daughter's eyes. Poets see things others miss. #7 I loved this!

After reading this we all need to become more aware of the little things and our hearts will really "gladden!" I will apply this advice! Nice! :-)

I hope you find joy in the great things of life, but also in the little things, a flower, a song, a butterfly cupped in your hand. Liked your poem expanded on the above. Thanks for your comment on my Desert flower. If you are interested in "poetry penpal" email me at: alphawolf3@att.net Randy
