The way of craft Comes with a surge In simple draft That funds sure urge. The path of deed Becomes more clear When mind finds need In work that cheers. The truth shows how Will and firm poise Can show you now To work fond choice. The style you form To weave the thought And forge new norm Impacts plain plot. The charm of play Can spring a truth That sparks fond say In cheery proof. The hands find will To work with things That forge and fill Joy that now springs. The hands of man Can make or break The bonds that tend In what we stake. The soul knows well The lessons here That come to dwell To live right here. The problem first Comes to appeal To learning thirst That will then heal. The answer sought In each new wave Cannot be bought Yet work can save. The light shines here If we but see The night that clears To show beauty. The smiles that curl Upon your face Will thus unfurl Wise time and space. The faith and hope That love now brings Can sculpt new scope In endless springs. The wise know then That life goes on Both now and when Love seeds beyond. The fool just knows A blindness full As whispers show An empty pool. The plain know reach In simple quest For life does teach In mundane jest. The road we take Serves each most well For what we make Now surely tells. The goods of earth Can be a load That burdens birth Here on the road. The signs foretell The story plot For thoughts we dwell Unleash sure lot. The zest that fills Each heart and soul Is cause that heals And makes us whole. The frame of mind That heart knows best Can fill in kind The easy fest. The touch of will Springs forth fond wit That jest can fill In all that fits. The life we live Comes by design; For all we give Comes back as finds. Leon Enriquez 12 December 2014 Singapore
