I guess the black angel would remind you of your faults and weaknesses and the white angel of your strengths. either one can help you realize you're the grey angel, little white little black. the black angel shows you what you still need to work on in yourself, the white would show you how far you've come. beautiful idea James, I hope I read it right...

Dilemma between the good and the bad,the innocence of the heart, the guilt of the soul....weaken the black whitens to grey-positive outlook to the grey cos which world can be all white and pure...fantasy world-the place of perfection, blend of hope for this world we all search for in life, sometimes hope lead us close to fear, yet an angel can rise upon all fear in dreams--well penned, one of your best writes-moral and depth are its definition ---charma
