Bitten Shy

Once twice softly they whisper
Bitten shy yet often to be
A time.. yet a never
Of dreams to remember to see

Flowing around for a one day
A day to finally grasp
That without words for a need to say
When no tomorrow is perhaps

Enough weren’t of dreams
Never enough were of life
The death and the schemes
The very reasons to defy

Asking everyday
Yet fearing answers
The never knowing to say
If life ever bothers

Thrice now they whisper
Yet somehow a yet still to be
My time... perhaps a never
Of dreams remembering to see
