Birthday Party

Birth Day Party My Birth day dawns So many Phone calls wishing happy Birth day. But the desired call did not come My family was busy in arranging Party at evening. My ears were waiting for the special call Morning rolled into noon. I became almost sure you must be coming in afternoon. Depressed afternoon turned into colorful evening. Party was bright with guests, friends and relatives. Posies of flower, precious gifts left no room on the table. I greeted all well- wishers eagerly waiting for you in vain. You did not turn up. Party was over. I bade bye to all invitees I had to retire in bed. Only hope was left, if I could capture you in my dream. I could not Next day dawns. I am older, one year bade bye to me 02/11/16
