One of those pieces one has to write because the garden is so very beautiful, and just sitting there touches one's soul

Birds, and morning glory

Parrots and morning glory.

The skies they be electric blue
On a morning pure and bright
I stand there in my lovely garden
And I feel such sweet delight
As I look up in the Banksia tree
And shrouded there in mystery
Five Pink Galahs against the sky
They come into my gazing eyes.

So Rosy pink these parrots be
These wondrous cockatoos
And lord, they look so wonderful
Against the sky so blue
As the morning Glory climbs the tree
All wild and lose and fancy free
And seeks to reach the blessed sky
Such beauty there, oh my, oh my.

The morning flows into my being
Intoxicating me
Those birds, those trees, that Morning glory
Fill me with ecstasy
Oh, so much potent energy
And so much mystery
I see within this morning scene
At one with life
And so serene!

Hi Peter, what are you doing there standing. Take a chair with me, a couple of cans of the amber fluid, nah!!! that just spoils the scene. Now I am going to wake up to your mornings In future. You do paint them so beautifully. Your words touch the Soul, they give the heart the warmest glow. The morning glory sings straight from the pae Into the heart. What a blessed morning you give to us. An excellent write as always Peter. Have a good day. Catch you later. Your Friend always....MUKE.

Reading this makes me miss Australia. Keep on writing. Nature Quote of the Day A morning-glory at my window satisfies me more than the metaphysics of books. Walt Whitman

Thank you Suz. I came to Perth in sixty seven as a young man from UK, and I have always thought of it as paradise, and still do. Everyone, it seems hate's the morning glory, but me, it seems. How could one not own up to it's beauty. Always love your comments...Peter
