"Beyond"

Beyond each of our hills,
He leaves a valley.
Beyond each arid stretch,
He'll place a stream.
Beyond each troubled time,
We may be facing.
God gives us hope,
And allows us to dream.
Beyond each sunlit day,
He made a sunset.
Beyond each moonlit night,
He fixed a dawn.
Beyond each daily problem,
We encounter.
There is, God,
Gently urging us on.
Beyond each planting time,
Comes a harvest.
Beyond each harvest,
a separation there'll be.
Beyond separation,
An eternity to spend.
With God, saying,
Won't you spend it with me?
