Beware: the Night Hunter

Lurking in the shadows Stalking her prey A hunger burning inside of her Taking pleasure in the hunt She watches and waits Like a panther sleek and silent She moves in for the kill Entranced by pheromones Her prey surrenders Claws extended She takes him in her grasp She feeds upon weakness She dwells in deceit This demonic creature A prowler in the darkness A mistress of the hunt Resembling a woman Copyright © 2009 Lena “Lolita” Townsend

Ah yes, I remember it well ... LOL ... nothing like old age to end the hunting ... This is a wonderful write, Lena!! Love the "entranced by pheromones" line ... The "Form" is Free Verse and the category I might choose would be "People" ... you can always edit back into the write and add this ... or not, just a suggestion ... smile ...

Oh WOW! Men be careful! Lolita is giving you fair warning. If it looks like a woman, smiles like a woman, smells of perfume like a woman.....Oh my God! It aint necessarily a woman! Good write, Lena. Love, daver...and thanks for the smile.

Wow. Sounds like a fun night of clubbing on the town. I'm with L'nass on the yielding idea. Could be worse. At least she's not a Preying Mantis. I'd be slightly more worried. Not by much though:) Cool concept Lolita. -Yoni

And yet I am so mesmerized that I hunger to yield to her. I am still under your spell ... don't let go, you got me with your writes, I rather yield than face the fall. Peace and love

This is so beautiful, I could just see her slinking along... I take jazz dancing lessons, and sometimes, I think we resemble cats, in our movements.. I caught my reflection once.. and cat it was...lol... Constance

Cats are wonderful and mysterious. And big cats, like powerful women, can be dangerous....Don't you think?

The huntress "Stalking her prey" is very intriguing and, as you say, "demonic." Awesome work, Lolita!
