Betting On Last

I've always loved predicting Which will be the last to die. I'm rarely right but still each night I study them and try. They start out on an equal plane But who knows why they change. Like human life spans, variance Will always seem so strange. So as the end draws near, I watch To see which burns down last. Just one more night and then another Chanukah has passed.

Like the candles, you've shed some light. But not enough for me, not quite. So if you'd be so kind to show. The rest of us what you do know. About this Jewish holiday. And enlighten us upon this way. We'd be grateful to understand. What you've come to know so grand. Merry Christmas. Happy Chanukah. Peace. :)

Hi, thanks for sharing this poem. As a non-Jewish person, this gave me some insight into Chanukah.
