Perfection walks the high wire between excellence
and better yet
Her cap is spun of gold, her smile sparkles below
eyes fixed like lasers at her goal
A body sheathed in strength
around a delicate frame
She steady's her tactile feet, inching carefully
along the wire
Heel to toe, heel to toe, pausing, balancing;
A stilled breath, inhaling with each step
Advancing beyond excellence to better yet!
