Betrayal

I cried and you smiled. You twisted things around. You faked the whole ride, Our 'love,' disaster bound. You said your love was true, And that I was 'the one.' How many do you say that to? When will your game be done? Now that we're not together, And I know what you're really like, I regret thinking 'forever,' Really mean 'for my whole life.' You're telling her you love her, Telling me you still love me. If you weren't such a liar, Maybe I'd still believe. I'm done with all the playing; I'm not crying every day. I just hope you have fun laying, In the dirty mess you've made.
