Benny Rhee
While walking one day
Down Cherry Lane
I met a man
With a golden cane
His back was bent
His hair was white
But the smile on his face
Was a lovely sight
He said, "Hello" as we passed
And gave a wave of his hand
I thought to myself as I moved on
What a sweet little man
Little did I know on that day
How deceiving looks can be
He wasn't a sweet little man at all
But a killer named Benny Rhee
Inside Benny's golden cane
Was hidden a razor sharp knife
That he had used more than once
To take a woman's life
By night his hair was brown
His back was straight and strong
And if a woman refused his advances
She didn't live for long
I learned all this from the TV news
After Benny was caught
He tried to plead insanity
But, it was all for naught
I was glad to know he was hanged
And they burned his golden cane
Even so, when I go for walks
I stay away Cherry Lane
