I went for a walk today in the rain, and
the wind took my hair blowing it about
it felt so sublime and divine
as I strolled beneath the maple trees
and their leaves came tumbling down
red, burnt orange and yellow like rain falling
it was a perfect moment in time, so
excited I gathered many to press within pages
but sadly, they crumbled in my hand
and I let them flutter away . . .
