They close the day behind them, then scurry to the hive
Inside a honeycomb of cells, a cabinet filled of lives
Where the humming never stops, until the midnight clock
When darkness soothes each frazzled mind, but worries never rest
One does his best to keep a head above the mounting stress
Were it not for family, honor, faith, ..and love for humankind
Society would be resigned
to seek,........ but never find
