Be

You all wear a face that grins and lies, Hoping that maybe you'll score a prize. You sweep all the worry in a pile; With washed and suspicious minds you smile. The world itself is over wise. No, not the trees and the deep blue skies, But the people who say they really care, When they could care less if you're even there. You all wear a smile to save the trouble, Of getting outside your little bubble. Your mind is full from being so fed, Of news and lies that the people spread. You all only dream of more possessions. What you're all about, no self expressions. The world can only teach the ones who listen, When everyone stops, a change will have risen. It's all the same at the end of the day, You'll all go on pretending it's okay. If you all would stop for a minute and be, Then the world would be in harmony.
