Bail

I breath you in deeply, I softly exhale; I longed for you to greet me' As I lay alone in my cell. My soul has no sail, And nor my mind awaken; Not a witness of my tale, My body is all that is taken. I try and I may fail, To release what I have stolen; My mind fills faster as I bail, I grasp the bars till I am swollen.

Hi Mike, which begs the question .. what did they lock you up for?. I tell you this though, there is elements of greatness in your words. The topic is also out of the ordinary. If this really happened then they did you a favour because look at what has come from it. Well done

Lol sure I have lived an adventurous life lol. I've only been writing poetry for a a few months and don't know the forms so I thought free verse was safe. Lol I will change it to Rhyme. BTW. If wouldn't be too much trouble. I only have a few poems. Would you tell me if I have the forms correct on those. One day when you have a moment of course. Thanks, Jennifer... ;)
