Backwards and Upside Down
The day the world stopped turning
The night the rivers stopped flowing
Birds fell from the sky
None could sing no more
Once brave animals
Now run away with a weak voice
That can only be heard through the trees
That are just are left to be stumps
Plants dry up and crumble
Back into the Earth
To teach those a lesson
That times not by your side
The sun dims out
The moon collapses into its self
The stars that were once followed
Burn out one by one
The only remembrance remaining being holes in the sky
That leak out tears
To try and make life grow
Not enough
Bodies of water evaporate
To joint the lost stars
Specks of dust we are becoming
In the larger scale of things
Learning to adapt to the surrounding darkness
No more comforting than a lonely cave
Even the animals are forgetting who they are
What there place is
All chaos goes loose
Running from no meaning from ever side
Is this the end?
