Baby Boy

The baby boy laughs and then giggles His head shakes and his body wiggles He starts to spin and then he gets dizzy His pursuit of fun sure keeps him busy Now he’s down, but not for too long He gets right up and is still going strong Running around from the kitchen to the den Like a little wild lamb escaping his pen Knocking down relics from the coffee table Shaking the mirror that’s not very stable Tripping over his blocks but still on his feet He glances at me while I take a seat Then climbing on the couch and into my lap For a nice little story cause it’s time for a nap
