Autumn's Breath

AUTUMN'S BREATH The clear crisp breath of Autumn is detected in the air I'm looking forward to Autumn fair With the trees in full Autumn blaze The temperature is falling, no more hot humid days God, in His infinite wisdom, gave us different seasons We may sit and wonder why, but He certainly had His reasons He knew exactly how to form every blade of grass And make each tree show His grandeur as summer days were past The cool sweet touch of Autumn, as it brushes us on the cheek Is like the gentle touch of the Master's Hand causing us to seek That gentle touch from Him each day as the season passes by Knowing we are safe in Him, and on Him we can rely So as you feel sweet Autumn's breath, lift your voice in praise Thanking God for all seasons, but especially Autumn days Bask in all His glory as His splendor you behold When Autumn's breath comes calling and touches your very soul Curtis Moorman 24 August 2013

BG: I love Fall but when Spring arrives, I'll say Ooooh! I'm so glad Spring is here, it's my favorite time of year. Then we hopefully zoom through Summer and it's Fall again and I'll say Ooooh! I'm so glad Fall is here, it's my favorite time of year .... and on, and on, and on! Thanks for your support.

BG - I love Autumn and Spring equally. Spring because it heralds the end of one season and the beginning of another and Autumn for the same reason but a different season. Poems about these two season a joy to write. Thank you that my poem helped you enjoy your morning coffee!
